OpinionDo we have to invent a whole new language? On October 9th 2019 Stephan Balliet tried to kill Jews in the Synagogue of Halle/Lower Saxony/Germany. Fortunately, the wooden door to the premises was locked. As he was unable to kick in the door, he shoots two “white” people instead before being apprehended by police. On July 21st 2020 his trial started. The first questions judge Ursula Mertens asked the defendant ware regarding his motives and Mr. Balliet explained freely. Foremost he wanted to prove to all his internet acquaintances who had doubted his abilities, that his self-tinkered firearms really do work. Secondly, he wanted to kill some Muslims as he hates them so much. Even in his current prison there are some. "Where else shall I go to be among only fellow whites ?!" he asked the court. "Unfortunately there was no mosque nearby, not even an Antifa center", he explained, that's why he had to settle for his third choice, the Jews. Besides, Jews aren't all that bad after all. Killing them would secure lots of attention. Well, maybe not in France but certainly here in Germany. Finally, he was asked why he did not know the synagogue's door would be locked, to which he smilingly replied: “You think I am stupid? I deliberately did not case the joint to arouse no suspicion!”. The Halle attack brought the subject of Anti-Semitism to the top of public attention. Ever since experts are constantly talking on TV, bold newspaper headlines are condemning it, and politicians are blaming the other parties for allowing it to steadily strengthen. That Mr. Balliet is not a Jew-lover, that's pretty obvious. But the question that plagues me is more one of terminology. When we call the Halle incident, where the perpetrator proved incapable to overcome a simple wooden door, “antisemitic”, what do we call the other incident then? The one where despite of any wooden doors many more Germans mutually decided to hunt down every single Jew in all of Europe and beyond, to utilize the international railway network to transport them back to Poland where they had made us build several gigantic factory-like facilities for the sole purpose of exterminating us by gassing and incineration in a rather efficient industrial manner. Do we just call both incidents “antisemitic” too or do we have to invent a whole new language? |
Humor![]() A Jew sits in the tram and reads the Deutsche Stimme. The first Jew replies: “You know, our newspapers only talk about how Anti-Semitism continues to rise, how the Jews are getting afraid, how we even beginning to think about emigration. That makes me depressed.
But here they write how filthy rich we all are, that we have way too much power in the economy, too much influence in Hollywood. That we constantly have lewd parties going... I like that much better!" Think Jews are wimps who don't know how to defend themselves? Think again. |
